Great for a child in the room for occasional gaming or watching TV!

I bought the screen so that I can occasionally watch TV, play games or stream Netflix on it in my room.
The resolution is not great. The material is also rather cheap. But in the end, it does the job. And who buys a screen
for less than CHF 200 if they need it for more than just such little things?

    Pro

    • Good value
    • does its job
    • Resolution is perfectly sufficient

    Contra

    • Cheap material (to be expected due to price)

TOP for the price as a second device

Considering the price of approx. 110 EUR, a really good picture quality. Colours and brightness fade only minimally from the sides and also from below. The viewing angle stability is by no means better even on our big-name UHD TV. Despite being only "HD-ready" (720p), the sharpness of the picture is OK for this size. Scrolling text, e.g. on news channels, is easy to read. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust the backlight and thus the black level. This is especially annoying in darker environments. I would describe the sound as typical for flat-screen TVs in this size and price range - still sufficient as a second set.

Sorting channels by SAT is - as with many other devices - very tedious, because regardless of the setting, encrypted channels (e.g. private HD programmes, Sky, etc.) are also listed in the search and may even be sorted into the top positions, even if they are not activated. At least the channels can be sorted manually in the order in which they appear, or a list of favourites can be created. The latter can then be accessed via the favourites button. However, longer channel names are simply cut off in the list for sorting and it is also not placed in the centre of the screen. In some cases, it is therefore not possible to tell which channel it is from either the name or the channel logo, e.g. "tagesschau 24" or "tagesschau 24 HD".

The standby LED is relatively bright and emits a strong light, and it cannot be dimmed or switched off in the menu. In the bedroom, this may be perceived as disturbing. If necessary, it may help to cover the "Plexiglas light guide" on the lower side of the unit at the bottom, sides and back with adhesive tape.

Especially in times when DIY stores are closed due to the pandemic, it is annoying that the unit screws (4 pieces, M6 x 10mm) for wall mounting are not included and that there is no indication of the size.

    Pro

    • Good picture quality for the price
    • Acceptable programme change speed for SAT (approx. 1.5 or 2 seconds for SD/HD channels).
    • Clear remote control with separate SLEEP button, so no need to wade through the menu first
    • Response speed to inputs OK

    Contra

    • Sound, as with almost all flat-screen TVs, only mediocre, but still OK as a second set for small rooms.
    • No possibility to adjust the backlight (black level)
    • Sorting channels on SAT is very time-consuming, as the setting "Only free" is ignored.
    • Standby LED relatively bright and not adjustable
    • Smell after unpacking / first switching on
