It takes a long time to set up, but then it works very well.

The first time I switched it on, everything started to hum and vibrate. It takes some adjusting of the parameters until the thing stays quiet, but then it works very well.
For good operation it needs a focusing system like
the one from dji or redrockmicro.
The connector at the bottom for the power supply to the camera doesn't look very strong.
I also find it a bit silly that each manufacturer has to design their own base plate. This means that you have to change the plate when you switch to the tripod. Also, the plate can only be retracted from the front, which makes it rather awkward with my Blackmagic PC (body has to be behind the centre columns, i.e. heavy lens on top).

    No, no and no.

Be careful... find out more... a lot of problems already with the calibration software with a smartphone. A HORROR. The software is bogged down, no connection 9 times out of 10, etc... I have a RED camera and it took me several hours to configure the product. I'm not even talking about the additional purchases to be able to configure the product (rods extension, adapted battery, remote screen, etc...). I really don't recommend this RONIN-MX. I may have been a "victim" of a defective product but I would not repeat the experience with DJI which in my opinion is not a reliable brand at all.
