    Worth the money

I am actually a notebook muffler and work at home on my desktop PC whenever possible. Strictly speaking, a notebook that costs half as much would also do for the purposes for which I have needed a mobile device up to now.

But now that I've invested a little more "than necessary", I have to say: the thing was worth the money. An almost perfect balance between mobility and performance (in this price range). The first notebook that I "enjoy" working with.
Definitely recommended for people who run around a lot and need a compact, lightweight notebook.

The only minus point so far is the keyboard. Given the dimensions of the device, it should be obvious that it is not necessarily designed for people with large hands. But the keys themselves and the haptic feedback are only "ok" - for a device with otherwise very high-quality workmanship, mind you.

Finally, another IT device that convinces me 100 per cent.

Since I am on the road a lot, I need a device with small dimensions and still good performance. This device meets all my requirements.

    Pro

    • Great, elegant design made of high-quality materials
    • Small device with a large, bright screen
    • State-of-the-art technology. Extremely fast (8th generation I7 processor).
    • Super price/performance ratio

    Contra

    • A little more memory would be nice.

Probably the best Ultrabook on the market, which I unfortunately had to exchange 2 times.

Performance, workmanship and battery life are absolutely high-end and at a fair price.
Before I list all the positive features, here are one major and one minor flaw, both fixable,

    1. laptop randomly turns itself off
when not plugged in. This seems to be a standard and known problem (ASF2 Force OFF).
Have exchanged 2 XPS13s within a month (at this point - handled smoothly and efficiently by digitec), so now #3. Problem no longer occurs - most likely thanks to BIOS update.
In any case, I think it is annoying when a CHF 1,400 notebook is delivered with such a serious error without pointing it out, resulting in 2 exchanges that may have been obsolete.

2nd fan regularly gets extremely loud without any complex processes running. Can be turned off, but of course to the detriment of performance. I did not have this problem with my Zenbook.

    Contra

    • Turns off randomly and I had to find out the cause myself after 2x exchanges.
    • Fan regularly gets very loud without (complex) processes running
