I have 3 of them in operation on a triple monitor system. Mainly used for software development, image processing, CAD, PCB layout. Gaming is not really the issue.
I am completely satisfied with the sharpness, contrast, luminosity and adjustment options.
Would buy it again at any time.

The only thing you can take away from this display is that the USB hub does not get power from the display but only via the uplink.
This is a display that is intended for commercial use. Things like: Viewing angles, ergonomics, 16:10 instead of 16:9. All these things are flawless on this display.
HDMI and black level are rather unimportant.
We already have over 30 of these in use at the company, they work perfectly in all respects, most of them are connected via DisplayPort. None of them has a pixel error.
I only miss the DisplayPort cable in the scope of delivery.
If you mainly want to watch films, it's better to look for a 16:9 display, which usually also has HDMI. For office use, there is nothing better for the money.
Use it as a 2nd monitor.

This review was created for a different variant: UltraSharp U2412M (1920 x 1200 pixels, 24")
I am very satisfied with the device... Price/performance for office use is great.
Important for me were:
- Displayport input
- USB hub
- Ergonomics (height adjustable)
- Price
For me it's right.
Use the monitor with my 2010 13" Macbook Pro. Works great with the finally available Mini Displayport to Displayport cable.
I agree 100% with the opinions of the other users.
Top price / performance
+No pixel defects
+Super processing
+Uniform illumination
+Good gaming capability (QuakeLive)
+Very good picture quality (subjectively better than Dell U2311h)
+Screen menu very user-friendly
-Have only one of these :S
