    Works with Synology DS916+

    I connected the Cyberpower to a Synology DS916+ via a USB cable and configured a PFSense firewall as a remote NUT client. The firewall dutifully fetches the stats of the UPS via LAN and also promptly indicates when the network fails. The combo runs self-sufficiently for over 30 minutes with this UPS.
    I have already lost a Synology NAS and a small computer running as a PFSense firewall due to short power failures. Both were irreparably defective, which is why I think investing in a UPS makes sense.
