I have compared and tried many small tripods, if you are really looking for a small one for a system camera, this is the right one. The Jobys are not an alternative for me (but very good for small compact cameras).
BUT: Tripods are often overestimated, the amateur photographer (like me) one needs these less than he thinks. Unless you specialize in macro or night photography....

I wanted to have something while traveling light that would help me with some shots of northern lights. I used it daily with Sony A7 + 14 1.8, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8.
It's a fantastic piece that bravely holds up in water, mud, and rocks. The wind is a bit of an issue, but hey—it's 0.5 kg for the whole package.

A super companion when travelling light. Doesn't replace a full-blown tripod, of course, but works wonderfully in its size class. Only the locking mechanism to fold the legs up and down could be better.

It is very clean and nicely finished, but has very thin tubes and is poorly thought out. The thing is only suitable for small compact cameras and phones.
The tripod consists of the tripod, a double extension that can also be screwed in between the head and tripod to achieve a greater height, and a tripod head. With so many parts, a bag is necessary -> +20g.
The head should be oversized for this tripod and the extension undersized, which does not have a good effect on stability. Unfortunately, the tripod itself has a small thread, so an adapter screw is mandatory, the head a large one. The extension, in turn, has a large and a small thread and now two adapter screws are already required. The adapter screws are of course efficiently loseable. The design of the legs is very small for 70cm or ok if engaged wider for 60cm. There one becomes seasick only already when testing.
Where I landed in the meantime for hiking:
The Cullmann Neomax 220 with the small Novoflex tripod head as a replacement head. Even if the thing is only aluminum: the combination is only slightly heavier (512g) but reaches significantly more height 74cm, for which you do not need to screw in an extension. It has a good leg layout, is much faster to extend, has no adapter screw disaster and if I trust the vibration app on the iphone, this also has significantly less vibration than the Carvao 816TCS.
Suffices for astrophotos to about 1kilo camera (eg MFT) and I have so far amazingly found nothing better.
