The SSD reaches 600-700MB/s, but only up to a certain point. As soon as around 1 TB is occupied, this speed is only available for a few seconds per write operation, after which it stabilises at around 50MB/s.

Works well, speed better than a compact external hard disk. Small and compact. Comes with only a short USB-C - USB-C cable, but that works great for new Mac laptops with USB-C. A competitor product (Sandisk) only has a USB-C - USB-A cable. So depending on how you need the drive, you have to plan for an extra cable - depending on the manufacturer.

The disk is extremely light and has a good shape (slimline). As a Macian, I had to format first with the utility - that's just part of it. Works great!

The speed starts off well until approx. 1tb
is used up. But then the SSD becomes slower than a normal HHD. Only useful for transferring small amounts of data.
