Slow SSD, only good for storage
As documented in many reviews, that SSD is super slow with sustained writes. After a few MB you continue at a speed of 3.5MB/s.
So not recommended for a usage with big writes.Super slow, not recommended
Extremely slow SSD. Copying approx. 1 TB of data (Steam game folder) to this SSD took approx. 3 hours.
Saving small amounts of data (e.g. 1 GB) seems to work quickly, with the expected speed. As soon as larger amounts of data are written (e.g. 50 GB), the speed drops to its knees.
This problem is very noticeable when downloading a game in Steam; the SSD is utilised to 100% during the reservation of storage space for the download. However, writing only takes place at a data rate of approx. 40 MB/s.
A speed test that only writes 1 GB, however, manages to write almost 500 MB/s. However, this is of relatively little use to me in practice.
I would not buy the SSD again, as it is not even suitable for gaming. "You get what you pay for..."Pro
