    1.car immediately, 2.car broken after 1. charging

    First try: on/off button only works when held down.
    Return works smoothly, received replacement car after 5 days.
    At first it drives perfectly for about 20 minutes. Then we charge the battery and the car no longer drives,     despite the charged battery.
    Unfortunately, a simple return is not possible as it is listed in the customer account as a completed cancellation.
    Have to send a message to customer service. Today 3rd working day after message to customer service. So far no feedback whether I will get the money refunded. Am disappointed with Carrera and the service.
    Unfortunately, I didn't realise until too late that the defects had already been described in previous customer reviews. I don't understand how you can still sell a car like this.

    Very nice car, the charger and way to extract the battery a bit tedious

    I purchased this car for my 4 year old son, he likes it very much. The unit is quite strong, going well in almost any terrain while other RC´s of the price range struggle, for example grass.
    I like the fact that it can also     work as a boat, we tried this on the Hallwilersee without issues.
    The only tedious part is that to recharge the battery you need to take out 4 screws from the bottom and it uses a proprietary USB charger, would have been nice to be able to use my previous Carrera RC charger.

    • Its water resistant can even "Swim" :)
    • It works well on the grass

    Great cars even for smaller children

    Our kids (soon to be 4 and 2.5) are very happy about their cars - and we parents think it's great too. It was worth it!

    • Drives on all terrains
    • Drives also on the "head
    • Looks cool
    • Works in the water too
    • Even smaller children can ride it
    • Not too fast

    Contra

    • Changing the battery is a little tedious, but it works
    • Control at the beginning a little getting used to
