    A lot for little money

    Great for people who are interested in VR but don't want to pay a lot for it. Can be used with iPhones and Android devices. Very good price-performance ratio.

    The Raspberry PI of the VR variants, Perfect!

    I am very happy with my Google cardboard.

    I would say that a cardboard is best compared to a pair of high-end VR glasses, like comparing a Raspberry PI to an expensive desktop PC.
    It's brilliant for 360° photos, Google     Street view, etc.
    There are also new apk's coming out all the time. And it's also great for your own developments and your own ideas.
    Furthermore, the financial proceeds go to non-profit aid organisations.

    • Price, possibilities, simplicity etc.

    Contra

    • Even on mobile with 4K display, the images are quite pixelated.
    • There is no real 3D impression, as with high-end VR glasses with integrated displays.
    • Harder to navigate without daydream controller

    Serves its purpose.

    Actually works quite well. However, it can easily slip out, especially with larger devices. Visually appealing and the workmanship is right.
