I've been using this thing for about a month now and it works wonderfully. One plug and the Macbook is immediately connected to all devices, one or two seconds and the monitor next to it is also ready at full 144 Hz. Even under Windows via Bootcamp, the thing amazes and delivers full performance, simply fantastic! Charging works wonderfully, it is recognised correctly, which is not a matter of course with Apple devices, with an HDMI adapter from Apple no 90 watts are possible even with the charger in passthrough, which then annoyingly causes the Macbook to discharge itself under Bootcamp despite the power connection. The TS4 is recognised directly and displays 98 watts of power under MacOS (see screenshot). Ethernet also works wonderfully and I get fast speeds. Also, I have to say the TS4 has good cooling and doesn't get very warm. I can recommend this device to any Mac user and I don't think there is another docking station as good with many ports and high performance. One quick tip, the unit comes with a Schuko plug, if Digitec still hasn't solved this, I could just write to support in chat and ask for this cable for free https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/value-netzkabel-schweiz-t12-auf-c13-180-m-stromkabel-219226?supplier=406802

This Docking station very good and easy to install which I expect not required too much help desk experience to install. I already had HP USB-C universal docking station which was quit good as well the only one problem I had it was not compatible to MacOS M2 as well with my Ultra wide Odyssey Monitor 4k 5120x1880, so from my experience I do recommend if you work in office with standard monitors (maximum 2 monitors) then go with HP Universal USB-C which is cost less and it's really good! however if you work with multiple OS and Ultra wide and curved Monitor then I do highly recommend CalDigit TS4.
Important Note!!! My only one mistake when I ordered CalDigit TS4 I didn't note that has only one display port but for my work I will not face any problem that is why I didn't return the device. also when I need to connect two laptop at same time with same Monitor I have to one of them directly with HDMI cable connect directly to monitor and the other one with display port via docking station.

I have a Macbook Late 2021 with M1 chip & an external display from BenQ.
It keeps popping out all plugged-in devices like SSD & harddisks as soon as
I go into sleep mode, what a joke. And no update has helped. It certainly doesn't cope with "Seagate" hard discs...
So far I've only had "sh*tfests" and for this price.... Even after the update to MacOS Sonoma it didn't improve, on the contrary, everything crashed (for the first time since I've had the Mac).

I use the dock with an M2 MacBook pro and a Lenovo T15 notebook with Windows and am absolutely satisfied.
Switching between the two devices is problem-free. Various devices, 2.5GbE, keyboard, mouse, Elgato StreamDeck, wireless headset, display, USB hub... are connected to the dock.
The dock is recognised by both notebooks with all devices without any problems.
The attached Samsung Odyssey G9 runs with DP1.4 without problems with full resolution 5120x1440 and 240Hz.
There are various reports on the internet about problems or crashes on the MacBook in connection with standby. I cannot confirm these from my device so far, but they may have been fixed in the meantime by a firmware or software update.

I can't quite understand the price here. For about 120-130CHF less, I bought it from another retailer and the docking station was delivered within a short time.
Otherwise, the docking station is the perfect addition to my home office and I am very satisfied.

Perfect dock for a Mac as a one-cable solution.
I have looked at and tested several docks, but this is the only one that really works. Two monitors (1x 5k, 1x 4k) work without problems. No bugs, everything worked right from the start.
The USB-C data port is also great for SSDs. IMPORTANT, SSDs should definitely be connected via USB-C. In the USB A port, it can happen that, for example, during a video export, you suddenly get a lag with the wireless keyboard and mouse. By the way, mouse and keyboard work perfectly via wireless dongle.
Offline charging is great with Fast Charging.
It's expensive, but it works as you want it to. I would buy it again immediately.
