Very good juicer
Making around 3L of juices every morning and this juicer is perfect for this job!

- big hole for fruits/veggies
- strong (probably aluminium) locking mechanism
- ceramic knife - easier to clean and works perfectly
- big tank/mug for juice (1,5l)
Quite okay.. But a lot of effort.
I have been thinking for a long time whether to buy a (slow) slowjuicer or a fast juice centrifuge.
The Bosch MES4010 works perfectly, quickly and does what it is supposed to do. BUT, the juice yield could be better in my opinion and the cleaning effort should not be underestimated: It is especially tedious that almost 50% of the solid waste does not end up in the bucket provided for this purpose, but gets stuck everywhere else in the machine.Pro

Long live ceramics!
Bosch has probably taken over the Chinese manufacturing licence rights from Siemens for the FQ.1 juicer, because this Bosch MES 4010, also known as the Vita Juice 4, is identical, and so much the better for us: these ceramic knives are really good and less of a hassle to clean than conventional metal knives. What's more, an effort has been made to reduce motor noise and a third gear has been added. Power has also been increased from 1000 to 1200 watts. In short: all good things. You can use it without fear to strain ginger (tip: for ginger, run the deposit through the centrifuge once more to get even more juice...). And happy winter, no more winter sickness...). And long live Fruit Power Juice.
