For me as a music producer (Money Boy aka Sebastian Meisinger) this device is really crazy drip dropping *sheeesh*. The sound quality is awesome. The steps in Fortnite are very well hearable.

I switched from my Denon AH-D1100 to these headphones. The price of 128 was unbeatable for what it offered. Although I have a rather large head, the headphones fit without pinching. I can wear them for several hours without really noticing them. The open design also means that you can hear what's going on in the house and there's plenty of air getting to your ears.
I use it with an external sound card (Asus Xonar U7), but even with the onboard sound card it was still loud enough (for my ears).
Overall, I can only recommend these headphones if you want: great sound quality, stable construction, open design, and a comfortable headphone experience.

+ Very good wearing comfort, even when worn for a long time
+excellent sound
+ good workmanship
+ spare parts are inexpensive
+ Made in Germany (no China goods)
I previously had the Bose on ear and a model from AKG.
The sound of the DT 990 is absolutely great for this price!
I also find it nice that Beyerdynamic still produces the headphones in "good craftsmanship" in Germany (Bose and AKG produce 99% in China).
Top headphones, I can only recommend them
Really a very good pair of headphones. Sits comfortably and the sound has an outstanding quality. Good bass. Price-performance ratio is excellent.

I never had open back headphones before and was surprised how "different" it sounds. It is best to listen to such headphones before deciding on them. I don't think everyone will like this "sound image". But I definitely like them.
