The monitor is really a bargain!
At first I was put off by a few negative voices, but I kept stumbling over this monitor during the evaluation. In the end, I bought it after all. It is used for a game PC.
I think the picture is really okay for a TN panel, and with a little adjustment everything was fine.
I also had no problems operating it. To switch the input source (D-Sub, HDMI, DVI), you simply have to know that you can switch with Enter.
The power supply is internal, contrary to the description.
great screen :) connected it to a mac book pro. runs flawlessly.
Everything is tip-top! The monitor is really very good especially for gaming!

I bought the BenQ GL2450HM as an add-on for my notebook. After extensive testing, it shows a sharp, bright and high-contrast picture. In addition, there are integrated speakers on the back that can be controlled via HDMI, but you shouldn't expect too much from them. The connection options are diverse, DVI, HDMI and VGA leave plenty of scope for connecting various devices. The control element on the side of the monitor, which is typical for Benq, is more practical to use than if it were located at the bottom, as is the case with most monitors. A very interesting feature is the built-in blue light filter, which is also on board since this series. This allows the emitted blue component of the image to be reduced as desired, thus protecting the eyes and our internal clock.
The viewing angle dependency is a bit of a complaint, although you have to be aware that this is not an IPS display, but a simpler TN panel.
The monitor's stand is a little wobbly, but acceptable.
In summary, for the price you get a decent monitor with good picture quality and good features, which could be particularly interesting for gamers due to its fast response time and good picture quality. But this monitor is also perfectly suitable for those who like to watch films or surf the Internet frequently. However, if you prefer image editing, you should go for a monitor with an IPS display and possibly even a higher resolution.
Note: HDMI cable must be purchased separately. Only a VGA cable is included, which is not suitable for Full HD.

Great screen, unfortunately it wobbles a bit, but for the price you can't complain about that. Unfortunately, the two screens I bought were about 4mm different in height, which doesn't look so nice, but doesn't prevent you from working.

So I can't understand the contrast complaints. Plug it in. That's it. Everything was flawless for me right from the start. They are super sharp. I would buy them again immediately
