OK would not buy the Powerbeats 3 again.
For me, they are too clunky in combination with a bike helmet and sunglasses, and wind noise is too loud at higher speeds.

Well, I'm not really one of those people who complain about Apple products. But after the third pair of Powerbeats 3 in black, I think enough is enough. For the price, you can really expect quality, especially from a global brand like Apple. They do take the devices back during the warranty period, but I had the same experience as "Poseidon". The only difference is that the same problem always occurs with every device. While exercising on the cross trainer, I usually watch my US series to distract myself. After buying/receiving the new unit, they never have a problem for the first 2-3 weeks. Run flawlessly. But then the sound starts to go up and down or the playback on the iPad is paused. But the connection is still working. At some point, I get so unnerved that I usually stop the training. When I connect my Beats to the iMac at home, it shows 100% power under the BeatsUpdater. However, it doesn't seem to supply the headphones with enough power. The indicator light always shows red. But in the software Full 100 % power. When I then pair the headphones with the iPad again, it stops after 1-2 minutes and the connection is broken. As if the headphones had no power (which is probably why it's red). Apple always replaces the device. If the problem wasn't known, Apple would certainly oppose the replacement. However, this is getting too annoying for me and I don't want to spend my time walking to the Apple shop. Since I usually sweat a lot during sports, I suspect that the headphones have a problem with the seal. The problem is not with the headphones themselves, but with the RemoteTalk unit on the left side. The unit is not moisture-proof and leads to the problems, which in the end lead to a short in the control unit of the Beats.

As long as the Powerbeats work, they are good. When the headphones are defective, the back and forth begins. I've been on them for several weeks.

As an Android user, Samsung S7, we had some concerns about compatibility. Since the headphones are basically built for iPhones. But everything went smoothly. The sound is good and the operation also worked perfectly. Especially if you prefer headphones with a headband, these are the first choice.

I have read a few negative comments - you have to put this into perspective. I bought the headphones both from Digitec and directly from Apple and had a problem with each (once this function button and once a Bluetooth problem). Both problems were there from the beginning and were solved bypass.
Now both devices have been in use for about 6 months for sports (several times a day, sweaty) and there has never been a problem since. Bluetooth works easily for 10 metres in a wall-free room - perhaps with a few interruptions for more. I'd say it's worth extending the service time, but you don't have to do without the device.

This is already the third pair of headphones within 3 months. The first one gave up the ghost after just one week - it wouldn't connect - devices were replaced without any problems. With the second pair, I only had sound in my left ear. The device was replaced, but I had to complain to customer service, otherwise I would still be waiting for a new device today. I went straight to the Apple Store on Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse. There I had to send the device in for clarification at my own expense and wait several weeks for a replacement. However, the salesperson had mercy and I was able to take the replacement with me without any red tape. Now the third pair of headphones broke yesterday. I had the headphones in my training trousers pocket. When I took them out, the neck was broken - too bad. I didn't expect the headphones to be so sensitive. So, just keep headphones in the carrying case. Battery life it does not keep what it promises. After 3x two hours of training, the battery was empty.

For the price, I would have expected better headphones. The Powerbeats3 do not seal very well against noise from outside, the earpieces are too loose for my ears. The bass is OK, but I have to constantly push the headphones back into my ears - the weight of the earpieces and the cable mean that the headphones always slip out a little, which is why the sound (especially the bass) is immediately worse. I find the earpieces more uncomfortable and unwieldy than helpful. The in-ear rubber parts don't hold very well, I lost both of them within one day.
Plus points for the battery power and the simplified pairing with iOS devices.

Not suitable for sports, does not hold and slips too tightly, flies out of the ear over time. Sound quality would be great

I thought I would buy some "reliable" headphones. That's why I bought these headphones from Beats.
After only 3 months, they kept switching off, even with a full battery. Unfortunately, I only now read about this common problem on the Internet.

I've only been the proud owner of the headphones since today and have tested them thoroughly right away. The first impression is very good: visually pleasing, the fit is great and comfortable. Although I have had problems with other in-ear headphones so far, these fit quite well with the smallest ear plugs. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sound. Of course, there are certain limitations in the mid and higher frequencies, but compared to other products in the same price segment, they are just a class above. They are really good for sports and activity and for the right kind of music. That's all I can say at the moment. Let's see how the headphones perform over time.

Well, I don't use that word very often, but it fits here, pathetic product. I've had it for 2.2 years. It has been in warranty 2 times, but they only reached the peak after the warranty period had expired. You can still hear a connection noise from the mobile phone on the left plug (in the style of Bing-Blub-Bing connection successful), but music only comes from the right. Has already fallen apart twice during the warranty period just from looking at it... Never again.

Ideal for fitness centre and outdoor running.
The weak point seems to be the command stick. I had the device repaired or exchanged 2 times already.
Thanks to the super service from Digitec, the in-ears were repaired or replaced without any problems.

Cheap plastic. Slips off my ears all the time, probably because the connection cable is too short, it pulls the earpieces away from the front. Constant disconnections and after a short time the headphones switch off after 20min/80% battery and switching on is refused with 3 flashes.

Unfortunately, these are already the 6th pair of Beats headphones that have disappointed me. They are already defective after 3 months. Software updates are useless. They don't charge and flash. It's a shame because I was always satisfied with the earlier models. Not worth it.
