    purchased this product

Basic mainboard without accessories with super fan control and good bios update support.

Bought it in a set with the Ryzen 5 2600x and the cheapest DDR4 Rams Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB 3000Mhz.

Since ATX is standard, there were no problems installing it in the case.

No accessories are included, also no cable
adapters for the mainboard. So basically you just get the mainboard. That's it! And of course the manual.
This is quite untypical for ASUS, as the board is in the mid-price range.

The connection panel is untypically fixed, so that the mainboard can be pushed directly into the case and plugged/screwed on. I personally liked this very much.

The BIOS is typically ASUS tidy and BIOS updates are currently released monthly. Simply download, copy to a USB stick and update the BIOS via the update tool. And of course reconfigure everything. :(

With 3 chassis fan connectors on the mainboard, I could easily attach 10 case fans distributed over the 3 mainboard connectors. The ventilation tool in the bios is typically ASUS ROG quite well done, which is why my fans run relatively soundless (for air cooling) in quiet mode. An additional fan controller is definitely unnecessary with this board.

Unfortunately, the RAMs from Corsair with D.O.C.P. (XMP) mode do not work, or Windows often crashes in D.O.C.P. mode (blue screens). I had to switch it to automatic. So I can't use the RAMs with (according to the factory) 3000 Mhz, but only with 2130 Mhz. But this makes no difference in the Windows speed index. And the system is finally stable.

I also had to switch on the CPU virtualisation mode SVM manually. Otherwise, many virtualised applications run extremely slowly.

    Pro

    • Easy installation
    • Bios is tidy and currently receives frequent updates
    • Connection panel is fixed, no tinkering with the housing necessary.
    • Compatible with the popular Ryzen 3000 CPUS
    • AM4 socket theoretically upgradeable at any time

    Contra

    • D.O.C.P. (XMP) mode does not work with Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB 3000Mhz DDR4 Rams
    • No accessories, only the manual. Disappointing for a mid-price mainboard.
    • No PCI Express 4, maybe you won't need that in the future either

I haven't had a single problem with the board to date, even though I've changed the case and components several times.
I started with a GTX 960, which was upgraded with the RTX 3060 and has been running stably for a year
    now.

    WIN 11 is also running

It started with an AMD Ryzen 5 and was upgraded with the Ryzen 7 5800X,

    My current BIOS version
    4901, 25.07.2022

ATTENTION! if you put a Ryzen 9 on it, you have to do a BIOS update first, because my colleague had the problem. for the BIOS update he had to reinstall his old AMD to do the update, after that it worked without any problems.

I think the board is outdated for the future, so it might not be worth buying it now.
