    Not an Apple fan, but...

I was never a fan of Apple products besides the iPhone before. But this laptop really convinced me that Apple products are worth the slightly higher price. The Macbook Pro is perfectly finished and runs extremely fast. The case is relatively scratch-resistant and very nicely finished. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but once you get used to it, you won't want to use any other. The trackpad is by far the best I have ever used. The gestures work great, you can adjust how hard you have to press and the accuracy is impressive. I've been a Windows user for years, but I have to admit that OS X is better in some ways. It's a shame that this model only has a dual core and the extra cost for the i7 model just isn't worth it. The SSD is extremely fast up to 1.4 gb r/w speeds. The 16GB RAM is useful if you also need Windows VMs, otherwise the 8GB model would suffice. Even though the screen is glossy, I haven't had any problems on the train or bus. 13" is ideal for travelling, plus the battery life of up to 12 hours even with Bluetooth and W-LAN. The price is definitely justified.

    Very good

I recently switched from windows to mac OS and I am not disappointed. It did take a little while to get used to it, but compared to Windows 10 it's a no brainer!

    Very good

I recently bought this computer for my university studies.

It's a really nice machine with a great finish and is really nice to use and carry around. The overall design is in my opinion just perfect.
    The screen is really
magnificent, the IPS panel gives a really beautiful rendering and especially remains well homogeneous except for the end of the edges which are very slightly bluish in my whites. I think it's a manufacturing problem that I'll have fixed under warranty when I have the time.
The keyboard is impeccable, really nice and the new pressure sensitive trackpad, although not essential, is nevertheless very interesting, especially the option to adjust the click pressure. I just regret the low number of USB ports and the absence of the old ports like FireWire, mic input and Ethernet, which are not essential either, but still useful.

In terms of overall performance, the SSD really gives a lot of speed to the machine's start-ups and to the software, even the relatively heavy ones, not to mention the instantaneous wake-up time. The 16GB of RAM are more than enough and the processor is really very good, perfectly adapted to my use.
As far as graphics performance is concerned, the small integrated graphics processor is more than enough for normal use of the machine, but in the case of more advanced use, such as processing large images on Ps, one can feel that the machine is a little less comfortable and I think that a computer with a real dedicated graphics card would be more appropriate for people who really work in this field.

Finally, the battery life is excellent! I never take the charger with me and at the end of a full day of work, the battery gauge really struggles to fall below 50%! Now we have to see how it evolves in the long term.

    In summary, very good machine!
