  Even as a complete computer novice, I was able to install the screen with the supplied cables (power cable + laptop / screen connection cable) without reading the instructions. To my amazement, as soon as I pressed the start button (bottom right of the screen), the laptop screen appeared! I thought the installation was much more complicated, that I would have to register the screen with the laptop somewhere in some application so that it would recognise it (as with a new printer). This worry immediately vanished into thin air. LG and all the best !  more
