Product details
The next-generation Raspberry Pi microcontroller board, built with the RP2350. Just as good, but better. With a higher core clock rate, double the memory, more powerful Arm cores, optional RISC-V cores, new security features, and improved interface capabilities, the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 H offers a significant performance boost while maintaining compatibility with previous members of the Raspberry Pi Pico series. Programmable in C/C++ and Python, and with comprehensive documentation, the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 H is the ideal microcontroller board for both enthusiasts and professional developers alike.
The chip from the new block. The Raspberry Pi Pico 2 H is powered by the RP2350, the new powerful and secure microcontroller. Every aspect of the design has been improved, from the CPU cores to our unique PIO interface subsystem. We have introduced a comprehensive security architecture built on Arm TrustZone for Cortex-M. And new low-power states and packaging options broaden the range of addressable applications.
Power it on. The unique dual-core and dual-architecture capability of the RP2350 allows users to choose between a pair of industry-standard Arm Cortex-M33 cores and a pair of Open Hardware-standard Hazard3 cores. This gives developers the opportunity to experiment with the RISC-V architecture in a stable, well-supported environment.
Radical transparency. The security architecture of the RP2350, including the secure boot ROM, is thoroughly documented and fully accessible to all users: This transparent approach, in contrast to the security through obscurity offered by older vendors, enables professional users to confidently integrate the RP2350 and the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 into their products.
