Raspberry Pi EB9929 - Build Hat Starter Set
Product details
The Raspberry Pi Build HAT is an add-on board developed in collaboration with LEGO Education to enable the control of LEGO Technic motors and sensors with Raspberry Pi computers.
It features four ports for LEGO Technic motors and sensors from the LEGO Education SPIKE portfolio. Available sensors include a distance sensor, a color sensor, and a force sensor. The angle motors come in various sizes and include built-in encoders that can be queried to determine their position. The Build HAT is compatible with all Raspberry Pi computers that have a 40-pin GPIO connector, including a Pi400 with a flat ribbon cable or another expansion device.
LEGO Technic devices can be easily controlled in Python, as can standard Raspberry Pi accessories like a camera module. The separately available Raspberry Pi Build HAT power supply is designed to power both the Build HAT and the Raspberry Pi computer, as well as all connected LEGO Technic devices.
The LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Set 45678 and the SPIKE Prime Expansion Set 45681, available separately from LEGO Education retailers, include a collection of useful elements that are supported by the Build HAT.
