This is a WisBlock expansion module from RAK Wireless. The RAK13003 expands your WisBlock project with 16 bidirectional I/O ports using the MCP23017 IC from Microchip. The module is configured via I2C and supports I2C Standard and Fast Mode.

The WisBlock ecosystem from RAK Wireless offers compact and modular solutions for creating your own IoT LoRaWAN nodes. Various CPU, sensor, and I/O expansion modules can be mounted on a WisBlock Base Board. Unlike traditional connectors, the modules are secured to the Base Board with screws, providing a safe and reliable attachment with industrial quality. Thanks to its modular and compact design, WisBlock is particularly suitable for applications in professional or hobbyist prototyping.
