This is a WisBlock ultrasonic distance sensor module from RAK Wireless. The RAK12007 can detect objects within a range of 2 cm to 4 m. This allows you to build, for example, a robot control system with obstacle detection. The distance measurement is output in pulse duration.

The WisBlock ecosystem from RAK Wireless offers compact and modular solutions for creating your own IoT LoRaWAN nodes. Various CPU, sensor, and I/O expansion modules can be mounted on a WisBlock Base Board. Unlike traditional connectors, the modules are secured to the Base Board with screws. This creates a secure and reliable attachment with industrial quality. Thanks to its modular and compact design, WisBlock is particularly suitable for applications in professional or hobby prototyping.

Note: Although the RAK12007 is primarily a sensor module, it cannot be mounted on a sensor slot of the Base Board but only on the I/O expansion slot of the RAK5005-O.
