Product details

The WisBlock LPWAN Module RAK11162 is a versatile communication module for the WisBlock ecosystem. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 SoC with an integrated ARM Cortex-M4F processor and, in combination with the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver, provides reliable connectivity for LoRaWAN networks. The module supports the frequency bands EU868, RU864, and IN865, making it suitable for applications in Europe, Russia, and India. Thanks to BLE 5.0 functionality, the module can also exchange data locally or be used for configuration and firmware updates. Flexible integration into WisBlock base modules and additional sensor or interface boards is possible via UART, I²C, and GPIO pins. The module is compactly designed and can be easily integrated into existing projects. The combination of low power consumption, a powerful microcontroller, and LoRaWAN capability makes it ideal for battery-operated IoT devices. With the RAK11162, custom low-power wide-area network solutions can be developed that offer high range and stable communication.
