Product details

A software RAID storage system cannot overcome the issues associated with cross-platform use. Only through hardware RAID controller chipsets can users utilize these hard drives simultaneously on Mac or Windows computers. With the built-in SATA 6G hardware RAID controller chipset and the USB 3.2 Gen 2 host interface of the GR3660-BA31, it promises not only high transfer speeds but also eliminates the cross-platform usage problems associated with RAID 0 or RAID 1 setups. Additionally, in hardware RAID, all data is calculated and processed by the built-in CPU. With such advantages, computer performance can focus on running software and tasks rather than dealing with the transfer issues of the storage device.
