The Bananatex Roll Pack was the very first waterproof yet plastic-free backpack made from our Cradle to Cradle Certified banana fiber material, launched in 2018. Thanks to its roll-top construction—designed for a circular economy and made from zero-waste patterns—it features an adjustable volume (15-25L). The latest version includes some important design updates: we have developed a new handle made from a Bananatex strap, the adjustable shoulder straps have been improved for comfort and durability, and we have increased the volume by 10%. A side YKK zipper provides convenient access to multiple interior pockets—key features also include a laptop compartment lined with merino felt, which fits a MacBook Pro up to 16 inches.
