Yes there is, but it has to be ordered separately via one of the Zyxel Business Partners if Galaxus doesn't have it in their range. I have since replaced my Zyxel's with a Netgear Orbi RB-K53 mesh router system, as it supports a daisy-chain setup. No more interruptions since then.

You should be able to connect them. However, the maximum speed will be that of the PLA5206, so it won't get any faster.

The advantage of a powerline network is that it can be set up in a star configuration. You can use several PLA5456 adapters in the network. However, the transmission performance always depends on the "weakest" adapter, so a certain loss is to be expected in mixed networks.

No, they cannot be used together. There is no standard for PowerLan transmission. Everyone is cooking their own
their own soup. The only standard that is used is TCP/IP.
The trick is as follows: For pairing, only two adapters may be plugged into the sockets, then it works well. So: Plug in A and B, press the button longer on one, then the button on the second. Then remove one device. Plug in the new one (C). Press and hold the button on A or B and then the button on C. Got it?
Works fine for me. I have 150mbit over 3 floors.
It is important that both sockets are connected to the same phase. Otherwise it does not work.

In principle, it does not matter with which router/modem you use the powerline. However, there must be a free (gigabit) Ethernet interface on the router/modem.

Yes, it is possible to expand this set. Currently only the PLA5206 can be purchased individually, unfortunately the PLA5456 will not be sold individually.
The PLA5206 will work with this set, but the PLA5456 will not be able to deliver its full speed. If possible, we recommend that you only plug in the third adapter when in use, so that the two PLA5456s can develop their full speed, or purchase another set.

The higher transmission power with the earth conductor technology cannot be utilised with this circumstance, earth and neutral conductor connected in the socket.
