Can 2 separate networks be kept completely separate? I need a normal LAN connection and a line for a separate telephone connection (SIP).

Although I hate to contradict Quentin, if you have previously separated the networks via VLAN, it works without a problem. The adapters transparently lead out what comes in, i.e. "VLAN pass-through". Good luck :)

To create VLANs, you would need the Devolo Pro devices, which should be able to do this.
