ZTE MC801A HyperBox
ZTE MC801A HyperBox
It is not limited to any network and as long as you use it for a normal household it works from the Wingo side.
I use the router with prepaid salt in a basement with very poor reception. Works well
Yes, it works with a Yallo SIM card.
Via the IP address on the rooter in the browser on the computer. I believe the password is also on the rooter....
Hello, unfortunately I can't answer that, but you should be sure that it is a TS9 connector that you want to plug in, otherwise there is an adapter for it.
Yes under the VPS button remove the cover and two TS9 sockets
Yes, I had no problem at all with Sonos.
I use a secondSim with Wingo. This works without any problems. If not, the PIN code protection of the 2ndSim can be deactivated in the mobile.
Correction: The test winner would be the ZTE HyperMobile 5G-MU5001, but both with the test result "good"...
As far as I remember there is an (default) option to disconnect from the carrier if there is no traffic (there is a timeout to it). In this case, the diode on the front panel goes off. Maybe this is the cause. Have a look in the router config.
This router does not have an antenna connection. But it doesn't need to, the built-in one is very good.
Galaxus Mobile SIM cards don't work
I have positioned the unit directly at the window. It definitely does not need an antenna. Function in the house on all floors and even in the garden is top!
Hello I can't really answer that. It is the interaction of WIFI and 4G/5G that ultimately defines the throughput. I have between 10 and 40 MB/s at the end....
As far as I can see, nothing is throttled on mine. However, the bridge mode does not work correctly; the internal IP is always forwarded instead of the external IP. I have not yet found a solution. Bridge mode cannot be used in this way.
I found the function in the control panel under Advanced Settings → Router Settings → MAC-IP Assignment. However, only on the desktop interface and not on the mobile version.
2.4 GHz band supported and operates in parallel with the 5 GHz band (different SSID). no external antenna supplied.
From my point of view, it is important that you have good 5g reception in the place where you set up the router. Otherwise I would leave it alone. I connected it with a Fritz WLAN Repeater, a hub and with the HUE Bridge. That worked well. I don't know if it works with a Netgear router as a bridge, but theoretically it should.
