Power and Wifi lights are white. Network light is red and therefore no internet connection. SIM is inserted and same SIM works in a mobile phone (same position in the room). Any ideas?

Did you enter the PIN of the SIM in the interface of the router? There are guides shipped with the router which explain how to do that.
