Hello all. I bought the cablemod adapter. however, the 12vhpwr plug does not fit on the original adapter cable from zotac because it is slightly different in design. However, the adapter fits the gpu. Are there other adapter cables that have 3x8pin to 12vhpwr?

If you have a bequiet! or compatible modular power supply, I can recommend the 12VHPWR dual-rail cable from bequiet! (This is not a 3x8PCIE adapter, but an alternative cable that uses 2 8PCIE ports on the power supply. However, I find it massively nicer, as a simple cable is used instead of the thick adapter and fewer transitions are necessary). bequiet! sells this model for the 40 series here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/be-quiet-be-quiet-vga-pcie-12vhpwr-adapter-kabel-cph-6610-124pin-60-cm-interne-kabel-pc-22715760, (manufacturer link https://www.bequiet.com/en/accessories/3959), which should also work. They also have remaining stocks of the previous model for the 30 series, which Digitec unfortunately no longer sells. I received it from the manufacturer on request for approx. 15Fr. incl. shipping.

I bought one at Digitec last week. But what I'm wondering is that I get a maximum of 350 watts with the latest call of duty with ultra graphics. It comes with a pcie 3x8 to 12pin adapter. At the connection to the card, however, it should be a 12+4 adapter?! Therefore the 4 signal pins on the graka do not work with the Zotac adapter. Is this the reason why I can't get to 100% TDP with my 850w power supply? What do I lose by running it with only 12 pins instead of 12+4? Kind regards

The RTX 3090ti graphics cards come with 3x8 pin adapters. Only the new RTX 4090 cards currently use the 12VHPWR adapter with signal pins, and these are also necessary so that the card can use the maximum power target. For your RTX 3090ti, however, there is at best the possibility of setting the power target higher using the Zotac Firestorm software: https://www.zotac.com/de/page/firestorm. Alternatively, you could also use the MSI Afterburner program: https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards
