The Yealink SIP-T57W can function as a line phone base and is compatible with the Yealink W56H for internal calls. The W56H is a DECT handset specifically designed for the Yealink IP phones and can be easily paired with the SIP-T57W for flexible and wireless communication.

To do this, you need the SIP credentials from Sunrise, which you then enter in the browser on your phone. But it's not easy to get these from Sunrise. If you are still a UPC customer, it is even impossible until you switch to Sunrise.

I asked myself the same question, but I couldn't find one at Yealink. Yealink are business phones, so that's where they are mostly used. There, the AB functionality is then solved in the cloud or software. Otherwise, the phone is recommended.

You can also supply the telephone with power via PoE. Functionally and cost-wise, it makes no difference. The power supply unit has 5V and can be found at Galaxus. A PoE feed is also OK. The crucial thing is where do I have a 230V socket?

Hello Mr Meyer. It would probably be best to seek advice from Sunrise, Swisscom or a visually impaired organisation. You can also look up telephones for seniors on the Internet or ask Stiftung Warentest. The telephone should definitely be compatible with the telephone provider, otherwise it won't work. That was the case with us at first. Good luck. Greetings Thomas

Hello Erich The W56H needs a power supply unit (charging cradle with power supply unit is included) and a base station. You can power the T57W with an optional 5V 2A power supply (if no PoE is available). If the W56H is operated in parallel with the T57W and range is not an issue, I would operate it with the DD10K directly from the T57W. If it is not operated in parallel and the radio range is to be extended (RT30), I would operate it without the DD10K instead of the T57W, but with a separate base station (W60B). Here you can find the W56H with W60B base station (W60P, power supply 5V 2A for base station included, or power supply via PoE): Yealink W60P With DD10K you only have to connect the desk phone to the modem. Depending on the provider, you can either provision the T57W with local SIP data (e.g. Swisscom) or safely set the public SIP data as an account on the T57W or directly on the modem (e.g. Fritz!BOX). You get SIP data from the provider. If the W56H is operated with W60B, the SIP data must also be set in the base station (admin/admin for T57W and W60B). Here you can find a cheap switch (distributor) with 4 PoE connections: Netgear GS108PE-300EUS (8 ports) If you don't have PoE, you will also need the 5V 2A power supply for the T57W. Otherwise, you can use only one cable (PoE - Power over Ethernet) to supply power and Internet via network cable directly from the Netgear GS108PE. As far as I know, number resolution is not supported, or if it is, it is only supported in a very complicated way. There are ISPs where you can activate it on the phone software, but I have never seen it directly on a Yealink.
