Headphones with an IP54 protection class are protected against dust and splash water:
5: Dust-protected (limited protection against dust, but the ingress of dust cannot be completely prevented).
4: Protection against splashing water from all sides (protected against water splashing against the housing from all directions).
This means that the headphones are resistant to sweat and light splashes, making them suitable for everyday use and sporting activities. However, they are not completely waterproof and should therefore not be submerged or used under a strong jet of water.
The headphones have proven themselves in use during sports, outdoors in the rain and occasionally even in the shower.
Hello Liras. If you google, you'll see that even cheap buds have this technology, but I'm not 100% sure*... I am very happy with mine. Rich bass, sit firmly in the ear and the only thing that bothers me a bit is the noise cancelling when I talk to someone. Otherwise I would recommend Super Buds, try them out, if you don't like them you can return them, it's also a great thing from Gala./Gigi. Greetings Edo
(*It is one of the first Bluetooth codecs to promise lossless CD quality of 44kHz. Reminder: The basic aptX codec has a maximum data rate of 352 kbit/s.)
P.S. I find it a pity that Gala./Digi. saves on good showroom. In Zurich there are only a few devices on display...
