For vacuuming/mopping you need the Combitank supplied. If you only want to mop (without vacuuming), this requires the optional "water-only tank" (must be ordered separately). Unfortunately, this is not really understandable from the answer in the app. It was the same for me.

Provided there is no longer a guarantee. Unscrew the wheel, it's very easy. Blow through everything again and put it back in.

Was the mop robot operated with distilled water or just tap water? I only use filtered water in mine because normal tap water can be very chalky depending on the region. Deposits could actually clog the pump system. If there is a possibility to clean these components, I would decalcify them if possible.

Yes, this is possible, you can switch from Y-pattern mopping to S-pattern mopping in the Xiaomi Mi Home app. There is also a video about this (note that the sound is annoying and quite loud): https://www.youtube.com/watch

When you open the app, you have to wait a few seconds until the device connects to the app. Then the device should appear in green on the display, where the charging station is, only then does the selected area work.

In order for the first map to be saved, the robot hoover should be able to travel the entire living area completely and without interruption and then successfully return to the docking station. During the first journey, make sure to remove everything that could interfere with the journey. Once the first map has been saved, you can adjust it and, for example, draw in prohibited areas.

Yes, this robot has a wiping function, but it is a bit of a fiddle and the wiping tank shares space with the cleaning tank inside the robot. The Xiaomi Dreame is much better, it is comparable in quality and performance to a much more expensive Roborock S5 Max or S6 (they cost around 400 Swiss francs). The Xiaomi Mi Mop Pro device is made by Viomi, which is also good, but the Roborock and Dreame robot hoovers are much better. The Xiaomi Dreame D9 is a top of the range robot hoover and I would recommend it, don't think because it costs under 250 it's bad, it's much better than the Mi Mop Pro :). Xiaomi Dreame D9 The Dreame has a much larger dust bin than the Mi Mop Pro, spare parts are easier to get thanks to the similarity with Roborock models, the tank with the mop simply clicks onto the bottom of the Dreame D9 and you're ready to go.

I recently had the same problem. All of a sudden it worked again, but unfortunately I have no explanation as to why. A firmware update from the manufacturer would certainly be useful here.

there is a HEPA filter available. but it is zimlich quickly clogged. so with us 3 rooms 3 cats every day 2 run ca 2 months.

as far as i know, it doesn't, so what does "not permanently" mean? if you switch off the wifi at night, it doesn't do anything, but then you can't vacuum either, but if you have the wifi active during the day and only vacuum then, it should work. vacuuming at night won't work because it will have problems with the card, and you won't be able to send it to individual locations. and i wouldn't use it completely without wifi anyway, there are too many bells and whistles involved in using wifi that it would be almost ridiculous for the price....

had the same problem, make sure you configure the robot in the following order: 1. reset completely 2. reset the wifi settings of the robot 3. find the robot in the app (usually takes 1-2 min. until it appears!) and 4. complete the configuration.

I also had problems getting the robot hoover connected to wifi. My new router could not connect to it. It finally worked with an older WiFi router. My guess is that the robot hoover only supports older WiFi standards. What is certain is that it only works with 2.4 Ghz.
