I have the problem in the Mi Home app,
that when I set the robot only to wipe, it says "Make sure the water tank is inserted correctly". When I vacuum and mop together, it works. The water tank is of course correctly fitted and I have taken it out and put it back in a few times.
Can anyone help me?

For vacuuming/mopping you need the Combitank supplied. If you only want to mop (without vacuuming), this requires the optional "water-only tank" (must be ordered separately). Unfortunately, this is not really understandable from the answer in the app. It was the same for me.

I don't understand the point ? For what do I have to mop and spread the dust when I mop.
