Of course, this is not common. I also have this lamp and it makes no sound. It must therefore be defective.
Dear Simon, Please forgive my English. I don't speak Deutsch, yet! I just started a new job and on my first week the manager bought this desk lamp. I couldn't really say whether this is the latest model or not, and I don't care much for the Alexa integration because I'm old enough that I can actually use my hands, but as a lamp this is both very elegant and an amazing light. Other than linear light intensity control (pretty amazing for LED), it also comes with temperature control. You can use a whiter light in the morning and a more softone yelow-amber hue later in the day, thus protecting your sleep cycles. Being partially sighted, I can assure you that on its maximum intensity this is like looking at the Sonne! In terms of energy, if you leave it on 24/7/365, you might actually spend 1 CHF on it. For the whole year, that is. All in all, my wife went literally from "How much did you spend on ONE lamp?!?" to "We're getting more of these!" within 5 minutes of taking it off the box. Yes, Galaxus, you'll be delivering more of these in the near future.
Have you contacted the Mi Store in Glattbrugg? https://mi-store.ch/kontakt/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw2or8BRCNARIsAC_ppyaTwrc_lPUSByQpEsxPXlF2DQYpgsSxLMFtEHXFyeR-tnGOf_UiwtwaArh2EALw_wcB
Hello yvonnechew If you type MJTD01SYL into Google, this lamp will also be listed. If you compare the data, it has small differences, it is not exactly the same lamp.
It is Mi Lamp 1S
It has an external plug-in power supply
Hello, is the colour of the case a pure white or is it more towards champagne or beige? Thanks a lot
Neither, nor snow white. It is a white with a warm tone, only visible in daylight.
As it is a connected lamp, the wifi cannot be disabled. Otherwise it is easily controlled with the app on the smartphone. But in practice, you use the button on the lamp to turn it on and off rather than your phone.
approx. 15cm
No, it does not work to connect with IOS app.
......when switched off via switchable socket, it must be set again on the lamp itself. fabian.nydegger (has bought this product) 09.10.2018
Hi Elia, I bought this lamp some time ago and am super happy with it. At first I also wanted to set up the app with my iPhone SE, but it's really not that easy. What I didn't like most was that it asked for information that I don't see why it's necessary for operating a desk lamp. So I deleted everything and operate it by hand, it's really easy. It takes longer to unlock my phone and start the app - unless you want to turn it on before you enter the room..... This is not the answer to your question, but my thoughts about the app :-)) Greetings, Hans
Hello everyone, unfortunately no answer either, but it's a pity that the question has remained unanswered/overlooked. If you mean the Xiaomi "Mijia Smart LED Desk Lamp" ('review' in English https://www.techwalls.com/xiaomi-smart-led-desk-lamp-review/), mE for the d/g range an interesting enrichment ?!? Thanks for feedback from the d/g team :-)
What does timeout mean? I don't remember exactly how adding it in the app worked, but actually you select the device, enter the corresponding WLAN (only 2.4 GHz!, 5 GHz is not supported) and password, then the lamp sets up its own WLAN network. Then you connect your mobile phone to the WLAN of the device and transfer the WLAN data from your home network.
The lamp has 4 modes with different whites from cold to warm. And of course dimmable. Greetings Thomas
Yes, the CH power supply unit is included. Greetings Thomas
The light is strong from my point of view. You can dim the intensity, the same with the light colour (warmer, colder).
No. You need to use the included power cable.
Currently only this colour variant is available
Instead of continuing to try: I now need the Apple Home app on the Apple Watch as a workaround. This allows the lamp to be switched on/off and even the brightness to be adjusted.
