You connect an Ethernet LAN cable to the Fritzbox (or any other router), then switch off the Fritzbox WLAN completely, remove all other devices from the Fritzbox and plug them into the 3 port Ethernet switch on the AX3000 router. Now restart everything, connect to the AX3000 router and set up the WLAN on it, you can also use the WLAN key that you had previously used with the Fritzbox. From then on, the AX3000 router configuration will manage all IP addresses and all WLAN devices. The Fritzbox is then effectively only a modem that establishes the Internet connection. It was exactly the same with my parents, Fritzbox and lousy WLAN, then the AX3000 system was installed, the Fritzbox WLAN was switched off and from now on there is perfect WLAN in the whole house.
