Hello everyone
I have a total of 5 AX3000s. The idea of the mesh network would of course be that the signal can be extended by connecting the 3rd satellite to the 2nd satellite and the 4th to the 3rd and so on. But somehow I can't manage that. All satellites only ever connect to the "parent node".
Neither the manual nor Google could help. It can't be that the system can't do this. Then it wouldn't be a MESH network.
Does anyone have experience with this and can help?

In the Xiaomi Home app there is a green button under Network connection and Router optimisation: WIFI OPTIMISATION 
Start this 
The MESH network searches for the best connection between the nodes 
For example, I have 6 of them, one of which is defined as a gateway 
3 of them are connected via Ethernet cable 
The others without 
With the WLAN optimisation you then have the best network 
All nodes give me about 385 Mbs
