My son was impatient and bought the Chinese version which was available earlier. This version is full of ads, which is annoying. I waited and bought the European version and there are really no ads on that one. I highly recommend this phone.

Showroom only means that this model can be viewed in the showroom. When you buy the appliance, you do not get a showroom model but an unused and newly packaged one.

Yes, only this version is available in Europe. But you can install the Chinese version via Xiaomi.eu ....

I got it for 690CHF (two months ago). When the new Xiaomi 14s come, it will be cheaper anyway.
Not available in the Global ROM, for whatever reason. Take a look at the Xiaomi Custom ROM. xiaomi.eu

Simply ask the mobile phone provider with whom the subscription was concluded. Or make a contract extension at MediaMarkt or similar. That also works.
