Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always endeavour to offer a price in line with the market. However, this is not possible for all products.
This question has already been asked and answered for the more expensive device:
Here is the answer from Alain Elgamal (digitec):

All Xiaomi 12 models are 5G capable, unfortunately the titles are irritating, sorry.
There are only differences in the colour, in the size of the RAM (8 GB or 12 GB) and the storage space (128 GB or 256 GB). Because we obtain the data sets from different suppliers, they are unfortunately sometimes incomplete or errors can creep in. However, we do our best to constantly optimise the data sets."
Normally there are restarts only when you press the power button for several seconds, but you can also activate functions in the settings so that a smartphone does not turn on in your pocket. What I would also recommend is to install the latest MIUI updates, if it still shows new updates.

We have different suppliers for these models and relatively high purchasing conditions for the "smaller" one, which is why the prices are rather absurd.
As far as I know, there are no differences in the software, I think it's just tailored to the model. Have you compared the photos of the phones? If not, there are standardised photos on gsmarena. I don't know much more about it.
Yes, it will also work with Sunrise, Salt and Swisscom as well. However, there may be subscriptions that do not yet include 5G, e.g. with Swisscom or with other providers that use these networks.
I can only tell you that it offers a 5G function as described. Whether the respective providers support a device is always very individual. Therefore, you should ask your desired provider directly, as it can be completely different.
