Wie wäre es mit einem normalen Kartenleser? InLine OTG Cardreader & 3-Port USB 2.0 Hub (USB A)
Basically, I advise against this Wireless HD. The WiFi caused me problems > no more access, finally also no more via USB. Within a year, I returned three HDs under warranty. Replaced with a normal USB HD.
Hi. Yes, you can transfer data to and from iOS devices via the WD app.
Hi. Just tested it now with an iphone. You can transfer files from your camera roll to your WD Passport Wireless using the app called "WD My Cloud". It's Apple so not very convenient to save many files, but it works from your camera roll, select your photos then chose share with and select the app "WD My Cloud". There you can chose the folder of your drive you want the photos/videos to be copied. It works either if you are directly connected to the WiFi of the drive or through a USB-lightning cable. Hope this helped
On the part is written: switching mode power supply P/N/: APP524-051240-150240 Model. APP524-051240U input: 100-240V OUTPUT: 5.1 V 2.4A I hope this helps you with your search ... :-)
That is not possible. You have little influence on the storage management of iOS. The Netflix app would have to allow you to save movies to the external hard drive, which is not an option as far as I know.
1. yes this is possible. I back up my CF card with a CF reader this way and have never had a problem. The smartphone would also work via USB, but it takes a while... 2. the disc makes a hotspot. It can't connect to a WLAN network, so there's no way to back up the data. I do this directly via the USB port of my Synology NAS or via the PC on Dropbox and Co.
Hello I have a mac mini late 2018 with Mojave ... It works perfectly cordially
Now you can compare them :-) Have adjusted the categorisation.
Hello, you don't need a PC to do this. There is an app, but watch the video. https://www.interdiscount.ch/de/Computer-Software/speicher-laufwerke/hdd-festplatten--C561000/wd-my-passport-wireless-pro--P0001307103?gclid=Cj0KCQiA1sriBRD-ARIsABYdwwH4F1pF6bPZCXAlWEaIZksOmgSi6lwqER6y3Y5HpHVVRJYvRtPg9DgaApc9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Ja, das ist möglich via der WD My Cloud App: https://itunes.apple.com/ch/app/wd-my-cloud/id450655672?mt=8
The automatic synchronisation worked perfectly at first. And now it's gone. I can't get it to work, nor can I trigger a manual sync from a connected device. Nor is it possible to sync via the USB port. Only the synchronisation via Wi-Fi for smartphones continues to work. I had to buy an SD card reader for my iPhone to continue the backup. I am on holiday in Japan and this bad surprise is in the worst possible taste. I do not recommend this product at this time.
It's even enough for 4K, if it's not too big a format (eg. MotionJPEG).
No, or probably not without destroying the housing when opening it.
According to the manufacturer's website, CF card readers are possible via USB: https://www.wdc.com/de-de/products/portable-storage/my-passport-wireless-pro.html Since USB card readers provide a uniform interface with a defined protocol for each storage medium, this should not be a problem with XQD from a technical point of view. For 100% certainty I would ask WD directly, their support has never let me down. I would also be interested in WD's answer...
Hey Gabriel8 Yes, that is possible.
There is only one integrated battery with a capacity of 6400mAh.
I can't tell with 100% certainty, but It's unlikely that you can. Access is probably denied if another device is using it. You can hook it up to a PC and set it up as a shared drive in the network. That way, all devices in the network can access it at the same time. The TV has to be able to access network drives, which is something Smart-TVs can.
I can copy DNG files with the built-in reader, if it recognises the card (sometimes it works, sometimes not). For a solution that is supposed to offer security, the thing is not good enough from my point of view. I use it anyway because I have it.
