If the nvme is as expensive and you have a free m.2 pcie slot on your motherboard, then go for the nvme. Otherwise you don't lose much with sata, effectively it's 1% difference for most people.

Hello Olafp. There should be no problems with the connection type and size of the SSD. With a bit of improvisation and skill, the drive can be almost fully integrated. Especially as it is also relatively fast and inexpensive.

Hello Adrianodanese In principle, you can install this SSD in any device with space for a 2.5" SSD. With Macbooks, you can upgrade the SSD yourself up to the "Macbook Pro Retina (2012/2013)" version. This is no longer possible with all newer Macbook Pro's. I hope I could help you with this. Greetings Metacrash

Yes, there is, but it is not supplied with the product. It is called "Acronis True Image WD Edition" and can be used to migrate data. However, I don't know how good it is and how extensive the range of functions is.
