The damping cannot be adjusted. Inside the suspension is a rubber bearing which is supposed to dampen the shocks somewhat by twisting. The rubber becomes softer over time, but the suspension remains hard. There are replacement rubbers which are softer and dampen more. However, softer damping can also be dangerous on a scooter, especially in fast curves.

No the handlebar height is fixed and can only be folded for transport purposes.

mine goes about 39km/h. however, i already have the fourth R55 and have noticed that each one was different and each one had technical difficulties. oh and never use it in wet weather, otherwise 1600.- are in the sand!!!

I have 4 VMAX R55s. I also use them without any problems when the roads are wet. It should be noted that quite a lot of dirty water is sprayed from the wheels onto the body. This is probably because of the small mudguards (although they are made of plastic).
The speed can be adjusted in 3 steps. At level 1, the scooter runs about 20 km/h, so that it can also be used by inexperienced riders. On the next 30 or 50 km/h, which is very fast with the small handlebars.

The scooter has three driving hours, which can be set by pressing a button on the display. On level 1, it travels at just under 20 km/h. Independently of this, you choose whether you want to drive with rear-wheel drive (1050 watts) or with all-wheel drive (2100 watts of power). Since these functions cannot be locked, you can drive on level 1 in accordance with the approval, but you will not receive official road approval. Have 4 of these scooters for the whole family and ride on the road with traffic on level 1 and off road (unauthorised) on level 2 and 3.
