Questions about TP-Link TL-WA1201

I bought this device 2 days ago. The packaging says TP-Link AC1200 which does not match the product name from Digtec. I use the device in range extender mode and have the problem that it does not recognise the 5 GHz network. The 2.4 GHz network works fine. Among other things, I use the TP-Link RE550 repeater, which recognises the 5 GHz network without problems and can also use it. Network specifications 2.4 GHz: Wlan mode: 802.11g/n mixed Channel: Auto, channel 6 Channel width: Auto, 20 MHz Security: WPA2 Personal Network specifications 5 GHz: Wlan mode: 802.11a/n/ac mixed Channel: Auto, channel 124 Channel width: Auto, 20/40/80 MHz Security: WPA2 Personal General: WLAN Channel Optimisation: Enabled SSID are set the same for both networks, as is the password. Does anyone know where the cause is / what else could be tried to fix the problem?

Is it possible to set wifi times on this unit?

Thank you very much for the link. If only the first 4 bands could be used and not up to 140, the TL-WA1201 is unusable for me. I have never seen this restriction on any access point/router. If this is the case, it should be described in the specification. I rather think that this is an error in the setup interface software.

I bought the TP-Link TL-WA1201 to use it as an access point. However, I now find that of the channels 36-165 @ 5GHz only the first 4 (36-48) can be selected in the setup. Even on Auto it always goes to 36. On 2.4GHz the whole band can be used. If this is the case, the WA1201 is unusable for me, as the first channels are often already "full".
