I don't think so, the fans are controlled via the Thermaltake Control Box (which is included and has to be connected to a USB output) with the corresponding Thermaltake software. However, I didn't connect these fans to an Asus board but to a Gigabyte or MSI board and at least with the 2 manufacturers I didn't get it right and Thermaltake doesn't write anything about Asus Aura or MSI Mystic Light compatibility. My experience with the whole RGB story is that it (almost certainly) doesn't work without an explicit compatibility promise from the manufacturer ...
It has a hub with it, with which a usb cable goes to MOBO and a power connection for operation. The third cable is for use with multiple systems of this type. I don't think an RGB header is necessary.
Yes, that should work. I have also installed it in this way. To connect the whole thing to the (Asus) mainboard and use the Asus Aura, there is also an adapter: Phanteks 4-Pin RGB LED Adapter Cable (RGB, 600mm)
The fans are delivered with a control box (can accommodate up to 5 fans) which has to be connected in molex to the power supply and to the motherboard. Both must be connected for the fans to work!
nvm i didn't read the other comments. ':/
Why don't you report the wrong data under "Specifications-->Report wrong data"?
No, unfortunately this does not work because the fans have a different connection and their own controller.
Unfortunately, the product is only available in packs of 3 and 5 from the manufacturer itself.
