Questions about Teufel Ultima 40 Aktiv

You can use the Ultima 40 Active for your projector by connecting it to your TV via an HDMI ARC connection. However, direct connection to a projector is not possible as the speakers do not provide their own HDMI output signal for the projector. It is possible to connect to an Apple TV box via Bluetooth, as the Ultima 40 Active supports Bluetooth. So you can stream music or audio from your Apple TV box via Bluetooth, but for video content a TV would be required to transmit the sound via ARC.

If you have ordered the item that says "active" in the description and specifications, I recommend that you return the item and request a refund. In the picture, the connection is passive (no power cable and no low level inputs). I suspect the item description is wrong.

Hi i have ordered second-hand of this model (CHF 628) few days ago, and i only received a single passive speaker. no cables, no active spekaker nothing.. i contacted the team and they said they dont have the rest of the components. i trusted digitec because ads said that it was tested. why did this happen? how did you test them without components? anyways, now i am going through a refund to order another one. Already, i wasted too much time because of this;;. How can i be guranteed that if i order this second-hand one again, i will get all the parts correctly? i do not want to go through this horrible disaster again... it was my first time ordering second-hand electronics from digitec and i was so shocked about how things were processed... could it my fault that i trusted the service without question? i have beeen using digitec for a long time and my trust came from the great service i always received... why did this happen?

You can operate active speakers with Class A amplifiers, but Class D and tube amplifiers as well as bridge power amplifiers are not recommended. - A special adapter cable with a built-in resistor is required for this purpose.

If you have an external source (console or player), this probably won't work via HDMI, as ARC is designed for that. You can, however, connect the TV via the optical connection (Toslink) if it has one.
