There is an app for the iPhone for the Suunto 9 Baro and the cooperation with Apple Health works very well. However, the Suunto 9 Baro is a sports watch and not a smartwatch like the Apple Watch and does not have its own sim card and a different range of functions.
Just a note. The watch is not smart. But the battery is awesome. I was still at 60% after 14 km of swimming (without economy mode). There is no better battery life. And altimeter for hiking is also great, you can really see where you are etc. The water thermometer also works well, but you have to be in the water for a few minutes to get it right
yes
According to the information found yes. The price was set due to supply and demand.
No, you cannot import maps. However, you can plan a track on the Swisstopo map and then import it. You can then see your current position in relation to the planned track.
The altimeter at sea is worthless, I was often in negative altitudes. Probably because the water pressure deregulates the barometer. Well, you don't usually go up too much when you swim 😁 I swim long distances with the baro 9 and it doesn't bother me. After 12km still 65% battery 🙂
Hello, this depends on the material and design. You can also configure a watch yourself on the manufacturer's website, then you will see the prices vary. https://www.suunto.com/de-ch/Passen-Sie-Ihre-Sportuhr-an/Suunto-Customizer/?product=suunto9#customize-design
Yes, the functions are the same. The only difference is that the strap is different but it is still made of silicone, which is very resistant.
the best thing to do is contact customer service 👍
However, I have found such functions. It should be more visible to me, like measuring steps, calories, altitude or sleep. However, the Suunto app on my phone says that this device is not equipped with a barometric sensor. Hence this question. I cancel my question.
No, it can be ordered sep lg Jürg
