It's just a different packaging, otherwise I'm not aware of any difference.

The set of 8 is supplied without the stand. This is included with the set of 15.
I guess this question doesn't concern me as a buyer of the same item, does it?
I can highly recommend this set (although unfortunately not individually) - the pens are great!
