Yes and no. It depends on the game. Some have a region lock. Basically, the PS4 itself is region-free as far as games are concerned.

As I understand it, no it is not. Sony claim it is region free. And it should play PS4 games from any region. I gather that playing BlueRay and DVDs can be problematic as they are regionally locked
