I don't know if it works with the Raspberry but I think it does. at least with the ps3 controller it worked. but with the Galaxy S8 it works very well. yes with Bluetooth on the android.
Yes, it should be.
All controllers on which you see this narrow luminous LED strip on the touchpad are from the 2nd generation and therefore with one of the 040/050/055 chips.
Hello, it seems indeed possible, you will find different tutorials on the Internet proposing all the same steps. I invite you to simply type "PS4 Dualshock 4 PC connection" in your browser, you will then be spoilt for choice ^^
Not updated. The one, new aesthetic change is the shifting of the blue light bar from the top of the older model's controller to just above the touchpad of the new DS4.
The only other change is that the new PlayStation 4 controller offers USB communication. Unlike the original DS4, this means you can play games either wirelessly or via a USB cable.
Other features, such as battery, motion detection and Bluetooth support remain, as does the wireless connection.
It works from iOS 13. Although it is already possible to pair the iPad and the controller of the PlayStation 4 with each other, it is not yet possible to operate games on the Apple tablet with it. This should be possible at the end of the year after the iOS release.
This has nothing to do with a second-hand model or the like. It is purely a comment regarding the discount. You will find the superscript one on all products that are currently available at a discount. If a product is resold used, this is clearly marked, so don't worry... :)
Hello DedRetr0
Yes, Digitec only sells the new Sony controllers. If you want other controllers, you have to go to another brand or another shop. However, I do not recommend this ;-)
I do not take any responsibility/liability

According to my information, it also works with the PS3 (I haven't tested it myself, but I should try it out). However, certain functions are not available. Use the controller with the PS4 and also via Bluetooth and USB cable on the PC without additional drivers.

Hey Lew1989
No, the controller doesn't come with a cable because they come standard with the PS4.
Alternatively, you can just order a micro USB cable which works perfectly.
If you use the controller only for PC I recommend you to buy a XBOX controller,
because it is better supported (because it is from Microsoft).
Here is the link to the cable:
Belkin MIXIT USB 2.0 (A - Micro, 2m)
Here is the link to the XBOX controller: (Again, the cable is needed)

Yes, the PS4 Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller has a micro USB port for charging and wired connections. According to the available information, the connection is primarily used to charge the battery and for data transmission, even if the wireless signal is transmitted via Bluetooth.
If the connection is faulty, there are alternative charging options such as dedicated charging stations that use the port on the underside of the controller. The official product features do not explicitly list the connection, but it is installed as standard.
