I have an Apple TV and a Swisscom TV Box which are currently connected separately to the TV via HDMI. If I buy this soundbar and then connect it to the TV via HDMI Arc. Do I then also have to connect the two external devices to the soundbar? Or do they remain connected to the TV? If all external devices remain connected to the TV and the soundbar is also connected to the TV via HDMI, will the sound also come from the soundbar, or do the devices also have to be connected to the soundbar? Thanks for the answer.

Your Apple TV and Swisscom TV Box can remain connected to the TV. The soundbar only needs the HDMI ARC connection to the TV to receive the sound from all devices. If the soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, the TV automatically forwards the sound from all connected devices (Apple TV, Swisscom TV Box and TV programme) to the soundbar. You do not need to connect these devices to the soundbar. The sound is then output via the soundbar as long as it is activated and the TV has been configured accordingly.

Unfortunately, this question is not directly related to this product. I am looking for a soundbar where I can easily connect any type of Bluetooth headphones to the soundbar in order to receive the sound from the soundbar to the Bluetooth headphones. does this even exist? Or is Bluetooth only for playing music from other devices? Thank you in advance for your help. Greetings Philipp

I have google chromecast plugged into my TV. I use it to stream netflix and youtube etc. from my tablet to my TV. Now I want to run the sound via the HT-SF150 soundbar. How does that work? Does anyone have any experience with this?

In my house, the sound bar is connected to the TV (HDMI + optical) and all sources go through the sound bar.

Can anyone confirm whether you can use an HDMI switch to connect multiple devices to the HDMI input of this soundbar? Sony support says this is not possible because the soundbar is not an amplifier. I would have to buy an additional Atmos amplifier to be able to connect multiple devices. Sounds illogical to me. How does the soundbar know that there is a switch between it and the device (if it is an 8k@60Hz or 4k@120Hz switch)? I use a Sony projector that only has two HDMI inputs, so eARC via TV is not an option for me.

Hello, can this soundbar be connected directly to the PS4? Not via TV, as the PS4 is used with a monitor. If so, does the cable supplied fit the PS4 or do I need to order a separate cable? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Yes, both devices have an optical connection, I would use this connection right away. Suitable cable: Goobay Toslink cable with metal plugs (1.50 m, upper class, optical) Depending on length ;)

Hi guys, I bought this soundbar 2 weeks ago and when I first installed it via HDMI, it automatically recognised my TV and I was then always able to play the sound directly via the soundbar. However, since 1 week nothing works anymore...the sound only comes via the TV...via Bluetooth I can play the soundbar, i.e. it is not defective. I have already disconnected the soundbar from the power supply and plugged it back in. The soundbar LEDs all work, but there is still no sound coming out of the soundbar. I have also checked the settings on the TV and they are set so that the sound should come out via the HDMI.

Can this soundbar also be controlled via the original TV controls if the soundbar is connected to the Panasonic Smart TV via ARC (HDMI 2)? In other words, does the box switch off and on automatically when I switch the TV off and on? Thank you for your information.

It says that this product has HDMI CEC, which would be in favour of your desired behaviour. If your TV also has this, it should work.
